FFL Shipping — How Montana Customers Buy Firearms Online

At our store, we ship every firearm directly to a licensed Federal Firearms License (FFL) dealer in your area. Here’s how it works:

Step 1: Find Your Local FFL Dealer

If you’re in Montana, chances are you have a licensed FFL dealer within a few miles. Popular Montana areas we ship to include Billings and every major city across the state.

Step 2: Complete Your Order

During checkout, enter your FFL dealer’s information (name, address, phone, license number). You can email us the FFL license PDF afterward, or have your dealer email it directly to us at support@montanagunshop.com.

Step 3: Receive Your Firearm

Once your FFL dealer receives the firearm (typically 3-7 business days), they’ll contact you. Visit in person to complete the NICS background check (ATF Form 4473) and pay the dealer’s transfer fee (typically $25-50).

Non-Firearm Items

Magazines, ammunition (where legal), parts, optics, and accessories ship directly to your home in all 50 states — no FFL required.
