Federal Premium Fusion MSR is a 20-round box of brass-cased .224 Valkyrie ammunition with a 90-grain soft point bullet. The bullet has an electrochemically bonded copper jacket over a pressure-formed lead core, which the supplier says helps it keep its weight through impact. The item is listed as new and is not pressurized.

A Montana hunter with a rifle chambered in .224 Valkyrie gets a bonded soft point load for game. The supplier describes controlled expansion as the purpose of the bullet, and the 20-round box suits a hunting trip. The supplier also describes the box as suited to organized ammunition storage. The state facts in this listing do not name this load for any particular season, so the hunter should check the regulations for the game being hunted.
